Room for a
second reading.

A little room for the imagination.

Arianna Leoni presents an independent editorial-illustration offering from Vailate, Italy. This collection explores quiet scenes, expressive shapes and the visual space around a written idea.

The work starts by asking what an image should add. Sometimes that is a setting; sometimes it is a metaphor or a small detail that changes how a paragraph feels. The aim is to give the reader a useful second way into the subject.

The drawings in this portfolio are original self-initiated studies. Their fictional briefs make the choices visible without suggesting a commissioned publication, a client relationship or an invented career history.
